Blackburn sticks to ‘consistent’ message

MSNBC ran a takeout on the U.S. Senate race in Tennessee over the weekend, with reporter Vaughn Hillyard pulling Rep. Marsha Blackburn aside to ask her about a potential Republican primary match-up with incumbent Sen. Bob Corker should he decide to get in. Here is a transcript of the, er, consistent answers that Blackburn gave.

BLACKBURN: “I am a solid, consistent conservative who is going to support a conservative agenda and our president.”

MSNBC: “And Bob Corker hasn’t done that?”

BLACKBURN: “I am a solid, consistent conservative, who–“

MSNBC: “–and Bob Corker hasn’t done that?”

BLACKBURN: “I am a solid, consistent conservative who is going to support a conservative agenda and our president. Thanks.”
