New Black ad calls Boyd, Lee “good men, but they’re moderates’

Diane Black’s latest TV ad goes back to touting her accomplishments in Congress — and footage of President Donald Trump recognizing her at events. Opponents Bill Lee and Randy Boyd, the narrator says, “are good men, but they’re moderates — the kind of Republicans who help Democrats get elected.”

Sees her unfavorables increasing at rapid pace due to constant stream of attack ads. So she tries and put lipstick on another attack ad. She is like a drug addict. Just can’t stop herself.

A lot of DC Diane voters already jumping ship. Still time for the rest of you.

  • James White says:

She voted for Amnesty for Illegals and a National Biometric ID and $3/20 BILLION to the World Bank.

  • Stuart I. Anderson says:

Finally, Diane has run the add with the theme that should have been in all of her adds throughout the campaign, sort of. Of course, Randy! is a self-described “moderate” whose political idol is Mitt Romney and who donates to organizations seeking to make the state welcoming for illegal aliens. In Lee’s case its his life-long disinterest in politics, especially conservative politics, rather than the few bucks he gave to politicians here and there where he conducted his business that should be the focus of attention. Better give me a call Diane before its too late.

Here is an idea for a campaign commercial.

[Murky, swampy area. The camera pans to a disturbance in the water. The top of a gator head is visible. It is swimming toward the camera. JAWS music starts playing in the background.]

Narrator: Diane Black voted for X, Y, and Z. She took [$XXX.XX] from swamp-dwelling D.C. lobbyists.

[Music intensifies. Right as the music reaches its fever pitch, it stops and draining noise is heard]

Narrator: Whether they come from Florida or D.C., we Tennesseans have a natural aversion to swamp-dwelling creatures.

[Diane’s face appears in ominous black and red background]

Narrator: Help President Trump drain the swamp and say “No!” to Diane Black.

We are 11 days from the finish line and NOW she runs the ads that Stuart says she should have been running all along. You are who you are til the polls suggest voters want you to be something else and then “poof”…… what is the opposite of authentic?

  • Donna Locke says:

I’ll be voting for Diane Black tomorrow.

    • Stuart I. Anderson says:

I can tell Donna, your letting them make you mad so you are going to vote tomorrow for Diane just to show them. What’s the rush? As I recall Tennessee Jed already threw his vote away by voting for Harwell so why don’t we conservatives play it smart and hold off until election day and use our vote the best way possible for the long run by doing what we can to beat Boyd. Of course, that might involve voting for Lee but it’s what we might have to do for the good of the conservative movement in Tennessee. Please wait to vote for the cause!

      • Donna Locke says:

No, Stuart, I am not mad. I simply would not vote for Lee or Boyd. I understand your desire, and mine, to keep Boyd out, but I also feel the same way about Lee. I know you do not.

I have to say, and we saw this with David Fox, a lot of advice from campaign strategists and ad people is very, very bad. Such a waste of money.
